3D animation is the process of illustrating digital objects in a 3D space. The viewer is led to believe that the elements exist in three-dimensional space even though the objects themselves are generated and displayed in two dimensions. This is accomplished through the use of shadows, detailed movements, and reflections. Video games, mostly, were the first sectors to adopt 3D animations to design gameplay.
