The most valued Ampere currently, the RTX 3060 Ti is closely connected to the RTX 3070. Both are powered by the identical GA104 GPU (the RTX 3060T has less SMs available) and have the identical 8GB GDDR6 memory and a bus with 256 bits.
With 17% less power in terms of core performance however, the RTX 3060 Ti compensates for this with some smart GPU Boost frequencies. This is a reason why the RTX 3060 Ti could be between 17% and only a few digits of the speed of the RTX 30, despite having a silicon disadvantage.
